TAXES ! - Flat Tax ?

Taxes, that dirty word. I do believe in all the articles I have read, we
should have one flat tax, all the tax codes vanish. Everyone that
includes the wealthy , middle class and poor all pay their fair share.
I believe if we put a flat 20% tax on everything except food, the Govt.
will collect all taxes, but their first should be a cap on their spending !
What is your opinion ? Mine yes we need to change the system.

Joe, I agree with a flat tax for everyone and every organization, and that includes churches.
All income should be taxed. Those who want a deduction for giving to a charity or a church should be allowed provided the charity or church pays tax on their income. If not, do deduction.

I agree with your statement. Religion is big business. They know how to take. When will they learn how to give?
I know a person who gave his 10% faithfully to the church. He was encouraged to give even more, and he did. The said that the more you give, the more will be your reward, and he believed that. When he became unemployed, the church did nothing to help him. The thousands of dollars he gave to the church was tax free. They should not be exempted from tax. Bloodsuckers they are.

I agree , the Catholic Church is the wealthiest in the world. I stopped
going when I was 18 ! I always believed you can talk to God anywhere,
he hears you no matter what..
